Anti Cellulite Diets – Does A Low Fat Diet Reduce Cellulite?

If you are one of the many plagued by cellulite, then you have undoubted pondered this question, “does a low fat diet reduce cellulite?” In short, yes it does. However, not just any old diet will work — it has to be a specially crafted & planned anti cellulite diet.

A reduced fat diet is one thing; reducing the fat that causes cellulite build up, now that is something else entirely. First of all, you have to understand that cellulite is unlike other types of fat found in your body. Some experts will even go as far as to say that cellulite isn’t fat at all, but waste that has accumulated from toxins and fat-inducing calories. This basically means you can’t expect to eliminate cellulite just by picking out a “popular diet” and sticking to it; it doesn’t work that way. Instead, you have to begin eating less toxin inducing foods and begin eating more natural cellulite fighting foods.

“What are the foods I should avoid when on cellulite diets?” Generally speaking, anything unnatural or bad for the body should be avoided as often as possible. Obviously, that leaves a lot of ground to cover. An easier question to answer might be “what foods should I eat more of when on an anti cellulite diet?”

The foods you should add to your diet will likely vary from person to person and diet to diet, but generally, they include: fatty fish & fish oils, vegetables, vegetable juice, brightly colored fruits & berries, lean meats with all fat removed (such as poultry), tiny amounts of fat-free dairy, beans, peas & legumes, plenty of water, and a wide variety of other natural, unprocessed food items.

You may have noticed that no junk food items were on that list. This is because junk foods contain toxins which, upon entering the body, promote the creation of ugly, skin damaging cellulite. By reducing your overall intake of toxins, you will be able to get rid of cellulite as well as prevent it from returning in the future.
